Schools - Education at home
Whilst schools opened their classes to vulnerable children and children of critical workers (First Lockdown) or children of Key workers (Second Lockdown), some children 'home schooling' became the daily routine. Parents had to relearn things they never knew they had forgotten! Who even knew about 'preposition phrases' and 'fronted adverbials'. Everyone became overnight experts on Zoom, Teams Tapestry or other video conferencing and online learning software. However in some areas, children didn't have access to laptops or smart phones and relied upon Teachers photocopying and delivering home work and resources.
It wasn't only pupils that were effected, as some teachers and University lecturers had to prepare and deliver lessons and seminars remotely.
