Castleside Primary School Nativity Play
Christmas in school normally means lots of exciting events, from parties and fairs to traditional nativities. However, for the last couple of years Nativity plays were either cancelled or played via YouTube or without an audience but this year they are back.
We were very pleased to be invited into Castleside Primary to capture their performance and enjoy the excitement of both pupils and staff as they prepared and performed their Nativity.
The children really enjoyed their costumes and make up and the staff were surprisingly adept at painting on beards and moustaches.
The children were brilliant and the whole play passed without incident, Baby Jesus wasn’t dropped, all of the presents were delivered and no animals were harmed in the performance. I’m sure everyone who saw it enjoyed it and a few tears of pride were shed.
