All Saint's Church, Lanchester is a busy Parish church built in 1283 and at one time known as church of St.
Mary. It is a well documented church which became Grade 1 Listed in 1967. It has been modified and added to many times over the centuries but still has original stones and carvings from Roman times and in the South porch contains a Roman altar, probably taken from the local Roman fort.
