It was the 10th anniversary of the park run in Consett and Blackhill Park recently. Many of the regulars turned up and the numbers were swelled by runners from other park runs throughout the area. There were a great variety of runners present, from good club runners to those giving it a go for the first time (and dogs).
The atmosphere was really friendly and tea and cake was provided for everyone at the end.
For one regular the 10th anniversary coincided with his 100th park run so he had a double celebration.
