Exercise is important to us all however for the more mature it can really make a difference to health and wellbeing. It can improve strength and balance and give you more energy. It may also prevent or delays diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, or osteoporosis and can improve mood and fight off depression and even improve cognitive function too.
Redwell Hills have a Magic Moments programme, this focuses on mind, body and soul. To do this, they are constantly looking at new ways to engage their residents and to encourage them to try new ways of exercising and accessing their wonderful outdoor space. Magic Moments Assistant Ellie, said, “We enjoy seeing residents engage in different activities and then how they tell family members what they’ve been doing and how much they enjoyed it”
