Dungeon BJJ
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a fun sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational or social activity, it’s also a great way to get fit, socialise and have fun. The Martial Art Brazilian Jiu-jitsu comes from Judo principles and follows the same idea that smaller opponents can defend themselves against bigger stronger opponents.
The Dungeon Brazilian Jiu jitsu Association was founded in 2005 in Sunderland by Aaron Naisbet. In 2009 Mark Innes joined the team and in 2015 opened his own Gym in Consett, where he has been teaching for the last 8 years. The club has strong links with the local schools where they host free taster sessions.
The club hosts classes all week and everyone is welcome to be part of the family, there is no upper age limit but members can join from 4 years and upwards.
