Andy Lee - Singer Songwriter
Andy has always loved music and writen his own lyrics and music, he and his brother, Paul signed for Polydor in 1989 as writers but unfortunately never quite made it to the top. He continued to write and sing but has also had a varied and interesting day job ever since. He spent time as a political speech writer for Michael Hesletine, became a Reported for the Northen Echo and now works as a Leadership and Engineering Consultant, and has a number of Intenational companies amongst his customers.
Andy has been front man and lead vocalist for a number of local succesful bands, the 'New York Now', the 'Scareymen' and the 'Ree-Vahs'. (A variant spelling of (Border) Reivers) who were rustlers and drovers who populated the borders of England and Scotland from the 16th century onwards.
Andy enjoys being a writer more than a performer and says that he doesn't go to gigs or watch other singers or bands as he doesn't want to be influenced by their work. However he's currently in the studio recording his latest solo record, so keep watching on line sites for its release.
