Consett AFC - the reopening of Football stadiums
December saw the return of fans inside football stadiums and Belle View were keen to use the fans to help their FA Cup Vase run.
Fans were only allowed inside the ground, in reduced numbers, if they first scanned into the venue on the NHS Covid App. Then were heat tested to make sure they weren't running a temperature, encouraged to sanitise their hands and once in the ground they were required to wear a face covering and maintain social distancing.

These photographs were taken as Consett lost to West Auckland 2-1 in the 2020-21 FA Vase 3rd round match. However because of delays to the 2019-20 FA Vase matches, Consett went on to reach the final of the 2019 - 2020 FA Vase Trophy at Wembley Stadium, loosing out to Hebburn Town 3-2.
The final was actually played on May 3rd 2021 meaning they were knocked out of the 2020-21 competition before they were beaten in the 2019-20 competition.
